Ah, so it looks like you only did 50% of what I replied. Here is the information, with a little more added information for your 2005 2.5S.

CAPACITIES
Engine, with filter..........4.5 quarts
Cooling System, Initial Fill..........8.1 quarts
Automatic Transmission, Total Fill..........9.8 quarts
Manual Transmission, ..........4.6 pints

 

im thinking of changing transmission oil on my 05 nissan altima 2.5s but dont know how many quarts does it require any info thanks :sadwavey:

Keep in mind that the capacity that Wildred listed for your tranny is the total fluid capacity. However, when you pull the drain bolt, less than half of that will come out.

How much they charge for changing trany oil? I know I could do it myself but still how much?

You assumed correctly. They have not updated the website yet and calling them would be the best bet. I called and was on hold for less than a minute. This was during lunch time, too.
