Did you install the battery correctly? (not upside down) It's possible your replacement batteries are dead. Do you have access to a voltmeter to check them?

 

By not working do you mean the remote has no power?

 

how long did u leave the batteries out? isnt there some kind of period u can have the keyfob without batteries before it loses its settings or something like that?

 

A co-worker has the same issue on his '09. The Key fob malfunction light is staying on (to the left of the seatbelt warning light, just under the "4" on the tach) How did you get this resolved? I told him to get the other fob and try that for now. New battery and putting the fob in the emergency slot did not work for him.

 

My buddy is having trouble with his fob. Works on the doors but it says no key detected. He has changed the battery twice in the last couple of months. It works fine for a bit then starts up again.
